Do we need to stop working while the move happens?
No. We plan the move in stages so your team keeps working throughout. Each stage is backed up and checked before anything is changed. If something looks off at any point, we pause and resolve it before continuing.
What happens to our files if something goes wrong during the transfer?
We keep a full backup of your original files before moving anything. If a problem appears at any stage, we can restore from that backup and start the affected step again. Nothing is deleted from your local setup until everything in the cloud has been confirmed working.
How long does a typical migration take?
For a small office with a modest amount of files, the Guided Migration service usually runs over two to three weeks. This pace keeps disruption low and gives the team time to get comfortable with new tools at each stage. A Cloud Readiness Assessment, as a standalone step, normally takes about a week from the initial review to receiving your readiness note.
Which cloud tools do you work with?
We are not tied to one provider. After reviewing your current setup, we recommend tools that suit your workflow — typically from well-established options such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, depending on what fits your team best. We explain the trade-offs clearly so you choose with a full picture.
What if our team finds the new tools difficult to use?
The Guided Migration service includes two hands-on sessions for this reason — so staff can ask questions and see the tools in the context of their own work. We also provide a written handover guide your team can refer back to. For clients on the Cloud Care arrangement, we are available for follow-up questions throughout the year.
Is my business data safe during and after the move?
We take data handling seriously. Backups are kept at every stage, access permissions are set carefully, and we only work with established cloud platforms that maintain strong security standards. After the move, we set up automatic backup schedules so you are not relying on manual saves.
